The Regupol range of Impact Sound Control products is recommended for wood flooring installations requiring soundproofing in commercial buildings and residential dwellings.
In a simple installation, the acoustic underlay is firmly adhered to the substrate then the wood flooring is direct stuck to the acoustic underlay as per the below diagram. More complex design is required for solid wood flooring and when greater noise reduction levels are required.

Disclaimer:
Impact sound insulation performance is dependent on a complex combination of design, building materials used, and construction and installation techniques. As such, all soundproofing systems require the design skills of an acoustic engineer, strict on-site quality control over materials and workmanship and insitu sound testing during installation.
All installations must be preliminarily verified on site using the methods specified in G6/VM1 clause 2.0.1 at the beginning of the installation program to ensure that installation complies prior to proceeding with the total installation program. Further random site tests must be carried out upon final completion in order to verify total site compliance and workmanship.
