WoodWorks wood flooring is available in plank and 3-strip looks and is finished in satin lacquer. A choice of ten species plus a number of stained and distressed finishes provides many design options.
The warm feel of a genuine wood floor under your feet is superb and can create exactly the mood you require; calm or lively, stylish or refined. Nothing matches the warm, beauty and timeless character of real wood.
Modern prefinished wood flooring is easy to keep clean and looking great with just a damp mop. It reduces dust mites which are a known cause of asthma; dirt, dust and pet hair are easily removed, maintaining a healthier living environment.
6 coats of factory applied UV-hardened satin lacquer provide a flawless finish. These advanced surfaces coatings provide excellent wear, scratch and stain resistance and stay looking great for years.
Prefinished wood flooring is easily and quickly installed without the mess and delay of sanding and polishing. It can be overlaid over existing surfaces provided there is a solid and even base and the floor can be walked on immediately after installation.
The three layer cross-ply "engineered" construction is strong and dimensionally stable, minimising expansion and shrinkage. If necessary the top wear layer can be sanded 4-5 times over the floor’s lifetime. All Woodworks wood flooring carries 10 year manufacturer’s warranty.
All WoodWorks floors are made only from Prime quality wood. Our principle supplier is an international company which has been producing wood flooring since 1988 and is one of the largest multi-layer wood flooring producers in the world.
Prefinished wood flooring helps to conserve forests by consuming less slow growing timber in the top wear layer and using fast growing sustainable species for the core and reinforcing layer. Our manufacturers have committed to purchasing their timber from legal sources and only use lacquer and adhesives with E1 low formaldehyde certification.
